In Our Toaster: April Fool’s—We Promise This Is About Sandwiches

Cute illustrated sandwich wearing heart-shaped sunglasses with the joke “Why was the sandwich so confident? It knew it had good taste” for April Fool’s Day.

Today, we’re breaking one of our own rules.

We usually take our sandwiches very seriously.
The bread. The balance. The build. The routine.

But today is April Fool’s Day, and even the most dependable sandwiches deserve a moment to be… unserious.

So, in honor of April 1st, here are some extremely corny sandwich jokes, served fresh.

------- 🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪🥪

Why did the sandwich apply for a job?
It was ready to bring home the bread.

Why don’t sandwiches ever gossip?
They prefer to keep it wrapped.

Why did the sandwich cross the street?
To prove it wasn’t chicken.

What do you call a sandwich that tells dad jokes?
A sub-par hero.

Why was the sandwich calm during the lunch rush?
It knew everything would pan out.

Why did the sandwich go to therapy?
Too many layers.

What did the bread say to the filling?
“I’ve got you covered.”

• What’s a sandwich’s favorite music?
Anything with a good beet.

• Why don’t sandwiches ever rush?
They’re good at taking things one layer at a time.

• Why don’t sandwiches ever get lost?
They always follow the bread crumbs.

• You mayo may not like these jokes, but we relish them.

• Lettuce be honest — you read all of these.

• This joke was on a roll.

• That’s how the bread crumbles.

• We’re on a strict knead-to-know basis.

If you smiled… our work here is done.

Tomorrow, we’ll be back to doing what we do best: making fresh, reliable sandwiches the same way every time. No tricks. No gimmicks. Just lunch you can count on.
